Today the Junior team plays GPS Bayern in an exciting clash between two American powerhouses. Strikers FC are determined to come out on top and see if they will overpower the newly formed select team of Bayern.

GPS Bayern score the first goal in 8 minutes with lots of small quick passes. After the first goal, Strikers are struggling to get rhythm. As time goes on, we have been moving the ball quicker and easily passing through the opponent's defense.

After a pep talk and a few substitutions, we look very dominant. After keeping the ball in the opponent's half for more than 10 minutes, we finally get a set piece. Max shoots the free kick with electric speed and power which causes the keeper to fumble the ball and Andre easily taps it in to make the score 1-1. There has been much better rhythm in the second half for Strikers. Bayern make it 2-1 by slotting it into the far post. Strikers have been dominating possession and chances on goal in the second half yet they have not scored. Andre dribbles from mid court and his shot hits the top right bar that could have tied the game once again.  After Reese is fouled in the box for a penalty,  Luis steps up and finds his shot blocked by the keeper What could have definitely been a comeback win for Strikers FC ends in a 2-1 loss.
