We've dug ourselves in a hole that we need to get out of. Before we head out to the game Marissa tells us we have lost our invitation to bring a junior team to Milk Cup. It's a letdown but it fuels our fire even more to win. Today we play Co Fermanagh, a local team that will no doubtedly play direct.

The starting lineup has changed drastically from the first game.  A low driven cross goes across the goal and can't connect.  Dean hits an impressive volley that bounces to the keeper which is easy to handle.  Lots of chances for both teams but they are not making the keepers work.  Max has an amazing free kick from 35 that the keeper hits to the crossbar.  Mac saves us once again by using his superb reflexes to stop a header from a free kick.  Mac parries a strong dipping ball over the goal.  Angel finds the ball at his feet after a cross and his shot is parried by the defender Shawn takes a volley with his back to goal and it's the best chance we've had in second half as the keeper hits it away.

The game ends 0-0 and it goes straight to penalties.  Andre, Max and Dean all make their penalties and so does the other team.

Ray steps up and hits the crossbar.  Luis makes his penalty and it is all up to this last penalty, and Mac saves it.  The first 5 penalty takers have gone, so it turns to sudden death.  Connor makes the first sudden death and Mac saves it once again to give us the much needed win to advance us to the finals.

Today's game was gritty.  This win is what we needed to dig us out of our hole as we hope to at least take a trophy back home.
